I see everything clearer today, with more definition, as if the morning light was different to that of other days, as if I could see every outline in nature. Today I feel my wrinkles more defined and deeper. I keep growing older, but I don't mind, as I just started practicing joy. The same way I was drawing to get better at it, I've proposed myself to practice joy every day.

We are born crying, with the trauma of leaving our first "nest" behind our backs, and we have to learn how to laugh, day after day, often insisting on not laughing, staying imbued in sadness. We move away from the world and from ourselves and perceive everything as bad.

I would like to see the other side of the coin; to distinguish the night of the day, black from white, the cold from the heat. I want to see the nuances of the different green fields; to enjoy the hot water over my body; to listen to the birds sing; to smell the roses of my garden; to think about you and not about me; to enjoy gloomy days and silence, to draw for myself. I want to be just a bit happier.
